It was the dawn of ‘Haritkrantee’ – The Green Revolution when Debons, a concept to raise agriculture was born in 1976. It was the time when the overall Indian Agriculture was in need of sincere and professional agricultural services in all its areas, i.e. field of micronutrients. Debons , with its essentially primary micronutrients was a fresh entrant with the fresh confidence to serve the Indian soil and Indian farmer, better.

The Company was formed by Mr.Yashwantrao Dadaso Bhandigare and Dr. Deshpande, an eminent expert in Agriculture. What he had at the time of inception was vision and dedication. He developed today’s phenomenon the micronutrient mixture of fertilizer i.e. Growgreen. The tedious and less fruitful process of traditional ‘Go and visit’ , ‘visit and decide’ laid emphasize one sidedly. It needed wise back-up of contemporary as well as futuristic solutions. It was during this period that, the fact came to know. It was observed that the deficiency of secondary elements was big problem and without the fulfilment, the mere addition of micronutrients was of no use.
